Accessibility

Our commitment

We build DemandLens to be usable by everyone, and we take WCAG 2.2 level AA as our target. This is a statement of intent and of current practice — not a certification, and not a claim of full conformance.

What is actually in place

These are measures present in the shipped product and held by automated tests, not intentions:

• a skip link that jumps straight to the main content, on every page;
• a visible focus indicator on every interactive element, pinned by a dedicated test contract so a restyling cannot quietly remove it;
• respect for prefers-reduced-motion: if your system asks for less movement, animation is dropped rather than merely shortened;
• text contrasts measured against the AA threshold rather than estimated by eye;
• semantic landmarks and headings, so a screen reader can navigate the page by structure.

The gaps we know about

Naming these matters more than claiming a score. As of today: no external accessibility audit has been carried out, and no testing with people who actually use assistive technology has taken place. Our verification is automated and internal, which catches the mechanical failures and misses the ones only a real user meets. We do not present it as equivalent.

Reporting a problem

If any part of this site blocks you, write to hello@demandlens.app and describe what you were trying to do. You do not need technical vocabulary. We answer, and we say plainly whether we can fix it and when.

If you would rather receive an answer or a report by another means, ask — we will find one.

Regulatory status

We publish this page voluntarily. At our current size we are not subject to a formal accessibility declaration under French or EU law, and we are not pretending otherwise. We qualify for the micro-enterprise exemption under Article 4(5) of the European Accessibility Act (fewer than 10 employees and annual turnover or balance sheet under €2 million). We would rather state where we stand now than wait for an obligation to force it.
